Terapi Elektroakupunktur dan Cupping untuk Nyeri Bahu
Synopsis
Buku Terapi Elektroakupunktur dan Cupping untuk Nyeri Bahu membahas pendekatan terapi komplementer untuk membantu memahami dan menangani keluhan nyeri bahu secara sistematis, berbasis prinsip Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) dan pendekatan klinis modern. Nyeri bahu merupakan salah satu masalah muskuloskeletal yang dapat mengganggu aktivitas sehari-hari, kualitas tidur, mobilitas, serta produktivitas seseorang. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan terapi yang tidak hanya berfokus pada pengurangan intensitas nyeri, tetapi juga mempertimbangkan fungsi dan kondisi pasien secara menyeluruh.
Buku ini menguraikan konsep dasar nyeri, karakteristik dan penyebab nyeri bahu, anatomi serta biomekanika bahu, hingga mekanisme terjadinya nyeri. Pembahasan kemudian diarahkan pada prinsip dan aplikasi elektroakupunktur serta cupping sebagai bagian dari terapi komplementer. Elektroakupunktur dibahas melalui prinsip stimulasi titik akupunktur menggunakan arus listrik dengan mempertimbangkan pemilihan titik, parameter stimulasi, teknik aplikasi, serta aspek keamanan terapi. Sementara itu, terapi cupping dijelaskan mulai dari prinsip dasar, jenis dan teknik pemasangan, indikasi, kontraindikasi, hingga penerapannya pada keluhan muskuloskeletal.
Keunggulan buku ini terletak pada upaya menghubungkan prinsip TCM dengan praktik klinik, sehingga pembaca tidak hanya memahami konsep teoritis, tetapi juga memperoleh gambaran mengenai penerapan terapi secara terstruktur. Pembahasan mengenai pemilihan titik akupunktur, teknik elektroakupunktur, aplikasi cupping, evaluasi nyeri, serta pemantauan respons pasien disajikan untuk mendukung pemahaman praktis tenaga kesehatan dan mahasiswa bidang kesehatan.
Buku ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi mahasiswa, dosen, praktisi akupunktur, tenaga kesehatan, serta pembaca yang ingin memperluas wawasan mengenai terapi komplementer untuk nyeri bahu. Dengan memadukan landasan teoritis, prinsip TCM, dan pendekatan klinis, buku ini diharapkan dapat mendukung penerapan terapi yang aman, sistematis, dan berorientasi pada kebutuhan pasien.
